At BHF we sell breeding quality piglets and pigs out of our IKHR registered breeding herd. Our breeding animals come from excellent producers of the kunekune breed. It is our mission to continue their work and “breed the best and eat the rest”. With our focus on pork not all animals meet our qualifications to be registered and as a result we will sell barrows for people to grow their own pork.

Being a heritage type lard pig they have a higher fat content than commercial hogs in turn creating a meat that is more marbled and delicious.
